About Kate Manewich, LMHC
Many of the people I work with show up feeling stuck, in their own head, thoughts on repeat, second guessing themselves, or carrying emotions and thoughts that feel hard to figure out or explain. It’s common to feel like you understand the pieces but can’t quite pull them together in a way that makes sense.
I’m a Western Massachusetts-based therapist that serves individuals throughout the state. I help adults and young adults address anxiety, navigate complicated relationships, show up genuinely and with confidence in their life.
In our work together I help you put words to what’s actually going on in a way that makes sense. When that happens, things usually start to feel less chaotic and more understandable and people often say it finally “clicks” in a way they couldn’t get to before. Over time that shift tends to change how things feel day to day, you start to be less stuck in your head and life doesn’t
I offer one-on-one therapy that’s warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you be more present and more connected to what truly matters. Therapy with me is virtual, providing flexibility in scheduling and the ability to join from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
please Hear me when I say:
You don’t need to know how to explain it.
Most of the work is simply starting where you are and figuring it out together as we go. If you’re not sure where to start, I’m here to guide the process in a way that feels manageable and makes sense for you.
How I work
I want the therapy space to be yours. A place where you get what you need from the process.
I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, focused, and tailored to what matters most to you. Whether you're feeling constantly on edge or overwhelmed by worry, stuck in low energy and self-doubt, caught in stressful relationship patterns, or just unsure of how to move forward, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be.
We usually start with whatever is causing the most stress in the moment. That could be overthinking, tension, confusion, overwhelm, feeling stuck. From there we name what’s happening underneath to support lasting change.
In session, I am to make sure you leave with something useful. Whether that’s insight, a new perspective, or a practical tool to use moving forward. A big part what I do is reflect things back in a way that makes them easier to understand and put it into words.
Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way—like self-doubt, overthinking, or the impact of past experiences—and work on building your confidence, strengthening relationships, and making decisions with more ease and intention.
You are the expert in your life. My role is to help you recognize and use your strengths to create more satisfaction, balance, and connection—whether that’s in your work, your relationships, or your sense of self.
